Thanks to all of you for the support... I really need it  :-* :-* :-*

I've so many cabs everywhere... and I'm a little bit afraid that the v2 won't be enough for all of them

Anyway, let's finish the job... another inside wall is done (I mean with the insulation)... just a picture to show you the insulation behind the osb panel

OK, now let's fix sokets on the big wall :

Done  8)

There are 4 sockets for that wall.

It's time to break the wall between the 2 rooms  8)

Let's see the different layers used at the time ...

...deeper ...

...more deeper ...

Of course, in the first room (v1), there is an electricity wire that come all along the wall (you can see a part of it on the last picture). The hard job will be to deviate that wire because :

1) This will be an entry to the new room... I don't want to have any electricity wire in my foot of course  ;D ;D ;D

2) The electricity must be still available behind all the wall in the first room of course  ;D

3) I need to bring electricity for the new walls, the one you can see in the new room. For the other wall, I'm taking electricity from another source.

I'll be you can cut it and extend the wire to where it can run over the doorway, You can make some trim work around the doorway to conceal the wiring.  Whatcha think?   ;)

Looking Great...  Oh,.. BTW.. On the v1 side, just put a clear painters tarp over the doorway work area, that way you can (try) to avoid spreading dust in the lair!   Project looking Great!!   :spaceace:

in the uk you cannot have any connections in the earth cable , it must be a solid strand all the way back to the main electrcity input, what about belgium bruno, worth checking as were both in the EU

just keeping an eye on things

I'm connecting all the socket to the existing circuits from the first room  ;) The first room has a dedicated electricity board of course.

I have the full power on this one (same power than my house)  ;D ...and , behind this I also have a circuit breaker.

Let's prepare the holes in the common wall of the sockets :

Now the boring part to do. See this picture

In the first room, there is an electricity wire (the blue line in the picture), and I'll have to derivate it, as showed by the green line  :-\

Why not take a short cut and go via the floor?

Why not take a short cut and go via the floor?

For security reason. I avoid the electricity wires on the floor in case of water flood or something  :ghost:.

Ok, let's work on the walls today.

The materials of the days

thermal insulation everywhere first, and then the OSB plates

...everywhere...

Done  :D

Everywhere, except the common wall between the 2 rooms. I'll show you later what I'll use to cover that part  ;)
