I just noticed that i didnt update me topic with the new control panel shame
I tryd to aply the control panel the wet way,but for some reason it didnt go as i had planed.
For some reason i had a lot of air bubbles under it,so i thought i ruind it :(
So i put the control panel away, thinking wat went wrong, after some time i took a look again and to my surprice
al bubbles were gone ;D
Now it only got a couple of air spots,i think im gona try to take a needle to make a litle hole to get the last air out.
Hope thats gona work.
Time for some pics ;)

The old and the new control panel

New control panel installed

And me dog found me 2 player button lol,so i need to get me a new one.
And i got a new joystick in there too now

Normaly there was a black dust cover with it,i didnt like that because it coverd the artwork under it,so i made one
from plexi.

Looking good so far only after some playing i can see some marks already from the dust cover so need to figure out
wat i gona do about that.

And sinds the ball on the joystick is verry small i also took a bigger one,i only use that one wen im playing.

I personly prevere the big bal top over the litlle one.
I only need to make some new wire on the control panel bolts, some were damaged and then the control panel is ready

Things to do now

Cleaning the original power suply, need to look at Etienne topic, for the 5 volt thingy it is also missing on my power suply, there is somthing else there now.

And im thinkin too to chromium-plate the coin box,i hope i say that right, depends wat it gona cost

And i dont got coin mechs in my door, and some decals,so i need to look up were to get them.

Then the only thing left is some new paint on the back and front of the cab,and i realy hope i can find a shop that
can scan the front for the color code

And i realy need some more time for this hobby ;D

I am glad it turned out good..

It does look very nice though.
I am not a fan of a plexi dustring, that will wear in the plexi for sure i think

anyway, great to see the repro on the cab !

What decals are you missing ? (i am printing on white soon...  ;) )

I think i will also install another stick in my CK, because the original "pin stick" is not comfortable for playing..

The air / water bubbles go out indeed..
i quote the printers advice;

Wet the surface and sticker with a nozzle spray with water, just like you apply window foil
then drop the sticker on it and remove the air / water bubbles with a windowwasher/squeegy
After that the water will be pushed out and the little remaining will vaporate.

yep you right after a few days playing i already saw some marks,i was thinking maybe take a round transparant sticker
and put it on the control panel so that way the sticker gets damaged instead of the control panel, or maybe just leave it away.

First order? We have a courtesy credit limit for phone orders until your account is officially opened of $50.00

so i dont think i can order there :(
I think im gona call some pinball shops here in the netherlands if they got them.
I also saw a guy on marktplaats, and he is coming from my city that sels coin mechs maybe he got some.
I do have 2 blank ones do,but there are a lot of scatches on them, maybe i can polish them a bit.
So basicly if i got 2 blank ones i can just print the, insert 1 token and put that one in or??

well, they are printed from the back, like your CP (glue on print side)

For now i dont have this print jobs waiting, so the best i can do at this moment is a normal print on white vinyl with the text that you like and then stick this on the front. (i have the file so i can easy ajust the color and text etc etc.

in that case it does not matter what kind of plexi you take since it will be covered by the print.

if i got a backprint job, i can include some for you.

Actually you can order. He won't let you order for more than $50 on your first order by phone.

He usually sells on credit, you pay when you get the order, Except first time.

You have to pay via auctionchex or some other system though, he doesn't accept paypal or visa.

So, if you pay upfront, no problem.
