Woot postmen just arived and ques wat he brings ;D

lets open the envelope first

The cab stickers
Who :shock:they realy look good.
So wat is left

The new control panel and the art.
I already took a little look at the control panel with the protective layer of a litle bit
And also that look verry good,it even has square holes in it for the bolts ;D
I didnt dare to remove the protective layer a bit to see how the artworks look
But it is probly verry nice too
Now i just need to look up how that you need to aply the art on the cp.
dont wana destroy the sweet looking pieces ;)
Thanx verry much etienne, for putting time and effort in to reproduce these pieces .
Now its time to look up how to aply the art on the cp
a verry happy ck owner here now ;D

Glad it arrived fast and in good order !

You are one of the guys that where lucky to have a sticker that was on the testsheet that i could save, thats why you got 2  ;)
Becarefull to remove the protective foil though when you are going to install them, they wrinkle fast if you dont look out.
its real aluminium remember, not a regular sticker..

The printer gave the advice to install the CPU with a waterspray, and then squeez the water out with a squeegie, or something simular.
i have the idea to use this :

Its stiff plastic, with a soft edge (ofcourse, otherwise you damage wallpaper... duh.. )  ;D

you can cut off a small strip of the art and practice on a piece of plexi...  thats what i will do though..

the holes i would cutout later and also trimm the edge with this :

about the square holes, they are based on 4mm carriage bolts which are dificult to come by.
the originals are 4 mm though, so i dont know if you got those ?

Very glad you have a working board now  :)
Now just some cleaning and it's shinny as new.
Also the postman make my day. All parts for the new DK cab arrived.
It's time to do a serious build now.
But that's for another topic.
Enjoy your ck and put a nice highscore on the board :D
