About the board: Carefully remove all socketed chips (one at a time), and firmly re-insert them. Then see what happens.

Think im gona send the shop, were i bought the pcb a e-mail maybe we can work somthing out

Finaly me 2 pcb's arived.
I spoke to the owner on monday he said he tested the boards and they were working.
So time to unpack and see wats in the box.
Board 1

Board 2

Hmmm in the ad it says original falcon boards
there isnt even a falcon logo on it   :-\

And after a closer look at the boards i see a lot of ceramic capacitor broken or totaly missing :'(

I wonder how the guy tested the boards, but i asume with that many ceramic capacitor missing
and broken that the board isnt working.
i just take the best looking board and desolder the wires from the conector, and replace some of the capacitors.
and see wat it does
but stil i dont like it that it isnt a falcon board

Can't say I'm really surprised......

Those caps are only for filtering the +5v per section and the boards may very well run without them.
Still a good idea to replace them though.

didnt know that thnx,so i now just gona take the wires from the board and see if they working.
Board 1 is running but with some strange colors and some letters in screen and some parts missing

Board 2 seems to run fine in atrack mode, dont got the coin door in so need to place it back again to
see how it runs then

I still think it's f-ed up that he told you they were original Falcon boards. That really is a difference in value IMHO.

Yeah, thats true, but it looks the same as my board, and it does show falcon on screen

probably like you said before, the bootlegger copied the complete content of the roms..

@Solidsnake:
You can maybe try to swap the roms one by one in your original board to locate the bad one...

ay i agree even on the ad on marktplaats it says original falcon boards
but as etienne says it shows falcon in screen.
but no falcon logo on the board so probly a boot.
Think im gona give the guy a call later on about that the boards are not original falcon boards
and if we can do somthing about the price.
And that a lot of ceramic capacitor are broken and a lot are totaly gone.
I need to replace 50 caps on evry board,i just gona replace them all with new ones.
Also on 1 board wen desoldering the wires, the conector strips came off 4 of them

i got 2 falcon boards i already tryd to swap them but for some reason they didnt like the other board

but with the 2 boards i got now i can try to swap them in the original boards
i cant brake anything by doing that or
