Haha, I just watched both Short Circuit 1 & 2 and there's a very nice Tempest in the bar scene in SC1 :)

Also, when my son saw Johnny 5 he immediatly said: Hey dad, he looks like Wall-E, exactly what I said the other way around when the first pics of Wall-E were released.....  ;D

I find it funny to see that a name day is so important in other countries. It means totally nothing over here....

;D :)  my thanks for the pictures mechanism !     .. but it seems different.. perhaps chicago coin changed his way later...   the "trackpoint" system seems different too.

yes the trackpad was invented on these games it seems !!

I think the roots lie in Christianity, it's the day of the saint that has your name, f.i. for me it would be St.Andrew (St. Andreas) day...

In this list we find Béla at april 23 :)

In Hungary (and in some other countries) each first name belongs to a day, and we celebrate it like our birthdays, drink a lot and get some small gifts like one more bottle of spirit. ;D ;D ;D

Mmm, only a couple of days after my birthday :)

I think it's safe to say that it's mostly still "celebrated" in one way or the other in Catholic (oriented) countries/regions.

I see my son's at april 25 and Béla's GF is not far from it ;)
