ElPancho has been moved from "Maybe" to "Attending" ! Plus, his brother is coming along.

Updated and cleaned up the games list a bit.

Now that I have at least five rooms for the Hotel I'll contact them again and do a little more bargaining. I'll also ask for the reservation details needed and how payment etc. is done.

I'm now making a Google Sketchup of my yard to see if the games will fit. So far it looks like we can still add more games so keep 'm coming !!!

Friends, I think it would be a good idea, if possible, to turn any "Mystery Machine" on the list into a real name of a game. The thing is, that the more GREAT game names we have, the more attractive Eurocade will be for all of us.
There is also a practical reason: I'm currently using Sketchup to make a drawing of the Eurocade set-up, so we can see if (and how) everything will fit in the yard. So it would be very nice to put the Mystery Machines in there too...

So, Ully, AtariMania, Arcadegek please let me know what you are planning to bring.

I'll publish the results ASAP.

OK finished the Google Sketchup so far.
Ully I put the Klax in for you, but you know which one I really want here   (it's only 4 stairs, you can do it )
AtariMania: I put an Asteroids cocktail in there, wild guess, maybe you even told me but I forgot, and it's about the only one available in Sketchup anyway.
Arcadegek...please let me know which pin you could bring...




Well it was a LOT of work, but it was fun to do. I think it looks pretty impressive.
A lot of "shuffling around" was done to get an optimal situation. DO NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT SET IN STONE. In fact, I simply followed the list and added the cabs. It may very well be that we do a lot of Shuffling around. F.I. I think it might be cool to create a "Star Wars" area with the pin, cockpit and Trilogy together. Maybe we can also move the Pac machines together and the same for the Nintendo games. We'll see about it, I just wanted to know if everything will fit. So far, it looks like we have plenty of room, I placed the machines with some decent space between them.

I did go for the "best case" situation, i.e. all the "maybe" cabs are in there. Of course I couldn't find 3D models for some of the more obscure cabs, so I used something else and put the name above it.

I just got the OK from Atarmania to UNCOVER the mystery Atari Vector cocktail.....

nooooo, it's not the "usual" Asteroids....it's a COLOR vector.....with a whopping 19" monitor.....it's a




SPACE DUEL !!!!!

DAMN, what a lovely cocktail that is !!! Can NOT wait to play it !   Of course, because of the 2 player game play on Space Duel it is SO suitable for a cocktail

Never seen one in Europe before, VERY proud to have it at Eurocade !!!

Although they're not on any of the arcade forums, they are probably the most well known (and fanatic) Atari collectors in Holland.

Sijmen is also the guy who developed the MyIDE interface for the A8 computers.
