all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

What's the name of that font you found Etienne ?

maybe the guys at the selectric museum made a small mistake.... ?

The one I printed with:
The letters are close, but the numbers are really off. They also have this goofy spacing (weird !), The ball's name is Delegate by the way.

Century regular, but as you can see is the "5" different in the top part..
youre right, i have not looked sharp to the numbers, the capital letters are fine as far as i can judge

ps , my ball is "delicate"  :o ;D  ;D

I found another source that confirms Bookface Academic is the one we need.

http://selectric.org/selectric/GPfonts/index.html

This is a list from a third party manufacturer of letter balls for the Selectric.

The Bookface numbers are what confirms to me that it IS that font. Please stop making it even more confusing now, thank you very much....

I found a source for a Bookface ball in the US. Would prefer local/Europe for shipping costs though, any suggestions where to find these are welcome.

I was reading the Galaxian restauration of Level42 on KLOV, and there he mentions that his cab does not have the serial plate.

That is ofcourse a reason to create it  ::)

I have updated the first post with a No.10 "namco-bally" serial plate  ;)

That could be easily stick to a cab as it is, or on a piece of aluminium..

Is there anybody here who has this that can provide measurements ?
Thanks in advance

here the example:
(blue is transparent)

Nope.

The Galaxians had a REAL metal serial plate.

Rich from ThisOldGame.com already produces them. They are also not a serial plate but a manufacturers plate, there is no serial nr. in there.

Actually I have one of Rich's repro's that I still need to install.....will dig up a pic tonight....

Anyway, a sticker would be totally inadequate here AND I think we shouldn't try to "compete" with others....

(All fonts look bold too me by the way compared to the original.)

Lol, for first sight looks like a serial number indeed. ;D ;D ;D
Btw. it would be nice to make a repro from the Namco Bertollini serial sticker if anybody have a sample from that. ::)
