There is an empty Space Pirate cabinet for sale in Norway right now:

It looks like it has the wrong control panel and surely a colour raster monitor. I don't know anything about the rest inside though.

The ad says:
Considering to sell this if there is any interest for it. Bomb Jack and a shooting game is included. Offers please.

If anyone is interested in saving the cabinet from a painful MAME death I'd be happy to talk to the seller for you. The cabinet is located in the south of Norway, 6-7 hours drive from Copenhagen.

I'm afraid the seller wants too much for the cabinet, approximately 500 euro. Add in the cost of transport, boards, monitor etc and it becomes very expensive. :?

There is no real market for arcade cabs in Norway, so on the rare occasion when people have one to sell they end up with comparing them to pinball machines. Still, it is not all bad. Last week there was a Nintendo Space Fever cocktail for approx 200 Euros.

That is cheap though.... we usually pay between 3-800 for dedicated machines and less for project... and that is rarely up and running machines...

I think that was only the starting price though. A friend bid 450 and didn't get it. That being said, I paid less than 200 for my working Donkey Kong coctail.  :)

Here in Hungary, they sell non-working, hacked, more common Zaccs like Phoenix, Scramble etc. for 400 eur, I think it is the right price for this one.

The ad is gone. I don't know if that means that it's sold or if the seller just pulled it.
