Hello hello hello everybody  :D , here is mister Anal again  ;)

Opinion needed guys....

regarding the instruction card area..

Original CP:

95% black background:

98% black background:

or 100% black background:

I like 100%, it looks tight, but the original looks like its more grey, almost like there is a "window" with a card behind.
the repro at 95% looks cool too, or in between..  98%..

Dont know guy's ..

NEED INPUT !!  :D ;D  :D ;D

not sure, but since this is the control panel i'd leave it in one piece without a window and go with 100% black. can you show us the entire cpo in the three different variations?
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

seeing the entire control panel overlay in comparison, i would definitely go with the 100% black version!

+1 and I would use Robin's instruction card with those cool illustrations. ;)

I guess creating a transparant section and putting a real separate card behind it really isn't an option right ? (Since the original has it like that, as Robin mentions).

But that's (part off) a DK instruction card:

and thus not original... just MHO.....

Ah, you are right, I thought it's a different kind of CK instruction card.

Andre is right, remember after i crawl into the cab what i found ...

anyway , also i noticed that there are different CPO's , or maybe another run was made with differences

My CPO has the instructions printed on the plexi, and is square, has a AVG logo, blue around the stars next to the instructions instead of green and different colors in mario and the griders..

I looked at many pics, and in the rest of the arts i cannot discover green, so i decided to use blue in the stars

i could make a transparant section, but i like also the text like it is now.

also i noticed that the CP of bela and robin are rounded edges, and they look the same exept for the instruction part
do you have a full size cab or a mini like mine Robin ?
that could explane the differences since Bela has the full upright..
does your cp have a "window" bela ?

i need to admit with the little graphics it looks nice in the instructions, an i found 2 of crazy kong

they look like instructions from cocktails though..

the last one looks like its original from the falcon version, but its damn ugly..

i also see differences in the bezel, mine does not have the zaccaria logo in the bottompart.

anyway, i think i will stick with the text only like it is in Bela's CPO.
I dont have any resource for the AVG logo, and also i dont like it in there..

ps it looks like you also need a new CP / CPO robin, its hacked with a extra button..

and i guess bela likes a new one too, do you guys want to join in when im going to print ? it saves 17,50€ startup costs if i let them print 3 CPO's in one go and later cut them.
thats what i did with the galaxian bezel and marquee, 2 pieces of graphics on one piece of vinyl instead of 2 separate jobs.

If you want it to be exactly the same, you have no choice but to zoom in really hard and trace every little spot.
:'(...
Well a man has got to do what a man has got to do !  ;)

after a hell of a time correcting and comparing i think its acceptable..

Almost done..

Looks stunning. I like the crazy kong cpo art a lot more then the side art /bezel, but that's just my opinion.

Don't trust the old/faded colors of the original CPO too much ;)

Great work !
