Ok guys ... finally my first restoration

the cab is empty ... a need almost everything (CP - Monitor - new sidearts - back door etc ...)  ... a lot of work  but hey is Q*Bert

I know exactly how you should handle this. You have to take exact measurements of each and every piece of wood of the cab, including angles etc., and then ship the empty shell to The Netherlands, East part of it. You of course will remain with everything you need to know for another one of your superb cab builts.

good luck, scr33n, with your first restoration. but why don't you do yourself a favor and put a real pcb inside this time? you'll realize that it'S a completely different feeling to "go original".

You're right Ully .... but this is my next step  ... all cabs with original Pcb inside

Restoration begins ....

the cab is full of little and big holes  and some water damage ...


first thing to do ... remove the old and broken sidearts ...

Water damage ... ok ok not big problem  :






and now is the time to fill all holes and imperfections (the cab will be repainted  ):

that's picture is classy !!! what type of wood filler are you using? is it strong enough to support the edges?

but before I need two important pieces (light support and speaker support - Thanks Stefano for measures  ) ... yes !!! a little scratch built work

Strong wood filler .... I hope it works ... primer and paint will do the final work
