got it!  ;D

Congrats on that one. However - this is a point where I don't like marktplaats at all. I already placed a "bid" (oliver.knagge - before someone posted this thread) but I never managed to get an item on marktplaats even if I'm the one with the highest offer. Someone always sneakes in - or anything else happens. Otherwise than Ebay as far as I understand the system the seller is not obliged to sell to the highest bidder or to leave the ad open "to the end".

No offense Gyruss. I'm not that after the cabinet at all  ;)

...but someone can explain to me that "markplaats thing"?

On Marktplaats you can email the seller or sometimes even call him.

That's usually better

marktplaats indeed has no obligations for a seller in the way of selling it to the "winning bid"

usually sellers on marktplaats are dutch, and when they see a foreign bidder (no offence)  they preffer a fast pickup by a local guy instead of someone outside of the country.

so yeah, there are sellers that use the Ebay practice on marktplaats, but they dont have too.

I also have a bad experience once, i was after an item, and i called the seller, i even made a appointment for pickup, and the night before the pickup day i received a email that the item was gone to another buyer, even though we had an agreement..

in that way marktplaats sucks..

But this seller was really cool, 'cause we had an email agreement and he kept the Crazy Climber cocktail table for me even after he had received higher bids.
Same story for the Pac-Man I bought in Holland so I guess I was lucky :)

Congrats Pieter, please ask him if he still has that american version of the control panel for the CC Cocktail table.
Now that I remember that guy also gave me a Commodore64.
I should publish that road trip

If I'm not mistaken the seller bought this cab from me about two years ago - strange size cabinet indeed André, but kinda cool just because of that.

Cheers, Marco
