Very nice Ully, this is a rare cab. And once it had the 'superUlly' treatment, it will be shiny and like new again, won't it? You said that you had to get the cab by car, does that mean that we can expect a road trip? Niceone ully ! i was wondering the same thing erik ![]() |

I don't want to keep nagging, but I'm sure some people would like to know where this project is going. Is there anyone working on it, or planning to do so? no problem, erik, i simply missed your post the last time. as sascha has already told you guys, he's out of the project, because it's extremely difficult to match those colors because of those tiny squares and the thick bezel plexiglas with the colors BEHIND it. andré pointed out that the blue is pretty close to the original. while i have to agree on this one, the blue is totally off from the one used on the bezel - and that's what i'd like to match those colors to, so that control panel overlay and bezel will form a nice bond / unit. i've found a very close match for that blue, but the other colors are more difficult. i'll give it another go once the weather gets better and the sun comes out, because a job like that can best be done in sunlight - not neonlight! if chrischris had a centipede bezel, i might ask him to give it a try, but as far as i know, he doesn't - and sending that huge bezel over to holland would probably cost 50 bucks. anyone from the "dutch team" wanna lend him his bezel? hang in there guys, i hope we can pull this off! |

Sides look great with the new black vinyl thx a lot, it even looks better "live". not easy to applicate though because of the sheer size of that thing, you can't do it alone! there is a learning curve in this as well, the second side went on much easier than the first one did - without a lot of sweating and swearing ![]() at first i though about painting the cab, but because of the particle wood used it's extremely difficult to get a totally even finish PLUS the cab originally came with vinyl - why change it? the sides will have to stay black for a while though, because there are no real reproductions for the full sideart available yet. some guy from canada did a pretty good job on recreating it, but it's not 100% accurate. i've made a deal with him though to get one of his earlier test versions (which is much cheaper than the final version and still pretty good), but i don't want to spend that much money at the moment on sideart, therefore it'll have to wait. there is one other guy working on vectorizing the entire full sideart, but this is still a long way from being finished! for now, the cab looks great without sideart as well ... |

I have a strange problem with my Vanguard pcb, when I switch the cab on, everything works great until the first game you play is over.
After the "Game Over" sign the screen collapses and I can see only vibrating lines. If I switch it off and on again, I can play 1 game again, but after it acts the same way. ![]() Any ideas what could be the problem? |

Yes, I'm also looking into buying a new CPO for my Centipede - so I'm holding my breath until there is an update on the new and improved one.
