Needs to be the 2 stack PCB type that fit in a cocktail.
Must be 100% working.

Ideally DC modded. :spaceace:

'Business' Area : Buy/Sell/Trade / WANTED ZX81 Memopak
« on: October 26, 2015, 06:48:54 PM »
Hi, Looking for this memopak, I just need the case for a ZX81 project.  The expansion at the back on this pic.

Please, nobody say "what is a ZX81?" I have feelings you know ;-)

On my Nintendo  Space Firebird cocktail the original green button for one of the sides was replaced at some point with this red one visible on the right.  Whilst it's not ugly, it's not correct and feels different.

Has anyone got a green button assembly in a bag of bits somewhere that you will part with?

All the rest / Retro Liberty Appeal

Hi Everyone,

You may already be aware of the YouTube channel Retro Liberty, especially for their program The Nes Pursuit.

Sad times have hit the family of their cameraman, his little daughter has leukemia, and as you can imagine it's knocked their family for six.

As a dad, watching this video made me realise how helpless I'd be if this hit my family and it shook me up a bit.

I've done all I can think of and donate something I can afford. I wanted to share this with you good folk on DLF in the hope that you can do the same.

But don't hear it from me, better if you watch the video , and then please click the link below, I'm sure every little helps. The form for donating is very simple.

Enough from me, thanks for reading and watching.  :spaceace:

Technical Area / Wicos Robotron Advice
« on: July 02, 2015, 07:58:16 PM »
Does anyone on DLF own a Robotron?

I have a Jamma cab that is a very similar profile to Robotron, so I'm in the process of getting the WSF Jrok, artwork etc....well not really started on the artwork yet bit I will.
It's important to me to get the right feel, and for this I want the correct Wico joysticks.   I really like this game, but to be honest whenever I have seen a real machine, someone has replaced the damn joysticks with microswitch 8 ways, so my experience of wicos is absolute zero.

I've been posting in various forums in wanted threads for 2 x Robotron wicos, and now I have a few leads, one guy says he has 2 x NOS, so of course I'm very interested.

THis is what he says to me "Hi Dean,

The originals had a gray body, all I have left are black, exactly the same otherwise.

and here is the picture he sent me.

so my question is simple - are these correct for a Robotron?

Thanks for reading all this.

Please PM with details - thanks :spaceace:

I'm looking for 1 of this type of clip to complete my set, don't worry if it's rusty or a bit out of shape, I'll fix that.

Please PM me.

Need a pair of joystick assemblies for the Nintendo Space Firebird Cocktail.

I actually have a pair of Space Fever ones thanks to Aeroflott, they are just a bit wide and I wouldn't feel right getting a hacksaw to them to make them fit since they are a work of art more than a joystick.

Thanks for looking.

I just discovered a box full of PS mcboot 8mb memory cards, mostly Sony, various colours, yellow, red, clear blue, black, madcatz...

There's plenty of info out there on how this little memory card opens up your ps2 to a whole new world..check these sites for compatibility to your ps2 machine. Most are OK, I never encountered one this didn't work with, but apparently there are some models, so do check first.

At time of writing 17/04/15, there's one on ebay for £10.99 - .......I'm not valuing these that high...maybe half this would be sensible, just for the card and shipping., not the free software, but that;s just crazy talk..

I used to make these up BITD for beer money locally , never big time, ...forgot I had them, just tested them all and they are fine. Got about 20+ here.

I'm looking to trade these individually for something small, something you don't want and I might like, something you may have a double of, and I may not have..try me, chances are I'll say yes.

What I'm thinking is your doubler games (not pcb's), but carts, disks, spectrum tapes...whatever...just PM me

Straight swaps, we both pay the outward postage, no money changes hands.

Crazy talk

PM me :-)
