Zaccaria Quasar Collection - First look videos
« on: April 18, 2014, 11:57:17 PM »
Hi,

Picked up my second Zaccaria today, this one's in a real sorry state. Here are the first videos.

It's got the wrong bezel, and a tragic marquee.

99% sure the bezel is from Scramble.

I did think I was collecting a Phoenix, but a tag inside tells me it's Quasar.

Yeah, the bezel is Scramble.
Some pics from the inside could help to identify if it was a Phoenix or Quasar.
Acces denied for the 2nd video.

Hi Bela,

I'll take some pics later of the tag that says it's Quasar.  Thanks for the info on the second vid, I needed to "publish" it, it should work now. You can see the inner workings of the beast.

It's in real bad shape, but coming back to life slowly already.

I'm not concentrating too much on it for the next couple of weeks, I have two other cabs that need focus first, I can't juggle three projects.

Berzerk is something I have always wanted, I haven;t got the best example, but it's perfect for me, I can nurse it back for as long as it takes. For the berzerk the cab has no original parts left inside that I can see, so I'm taking advantage of the JROK Berzerk/Frenzy board and Making this a simple Jamma cab.

It didn't come with the"bat" stick, but i did have some good luck, it was fitted with a S.T.C. Rotterdam 22-2830.
