Just had another good look at Speleo's pics of this monitor and I must say that Hantarex did a much better job then Electrohome and WG when it comes to layout and set-up.

The transistors are also soldered directly to the PCB without using connectors, a smart move because those are often a cause of problems on the US vectors.
The layout of the PCBs is very clean and structured. In typical Hantarex style they seem to have needed more parts then the US monitors. On one hand that introduces more possible defects, on the other I always think there must have been a reason and seeing the shortcuts to save money that the US vectors made on the transistor placing I wouldn't be surprised if the US factorys took shortcuts in the electronics as well....
The power supply section has its own board which was nice if they would have to swap just the PS section or the deflection board. At least it keeps things separated a bit....
Also good to see decent fuse holders with Euro sized fuses. The diodes and resistors that get hot all have some ceramic spacers probably to keep the heat from the PCB....
In total ther obviously went some thought in this one...
Mind you, the Electrohomes produce great pictures and once rebuild are quite reliable but it looks like Hantarex learned a bit from others mistakes...
It says nothing, the Hantarex may well have certain issues no-one knows about because so few of them seem to be out there, but I really like how it looks
