Hand raised!!! I will definitely be in the Eurocade 2012 team and would be happy to do it in Germany Dortmund is a good place to make it happen. I come from the northern part and here are a few cool spots too but the infrastructure in Dortmund is for sure way better. If it is neccessary I would take the leader role in this one but personaly I would suggest, that there has to be a team first to lead

I startet threads in the german forums ... let's see if we can get about five people together. You were quite lucky, that you lived not to far away from each other. The german scene seems to be more spread all over the country so finding a place for the event might not be as easy ... we will see.

First things first ... recruting is our job right now.

I'm not sure but wasn't the next Eurocade meant to be in Belgium??

We would also be willing to organize a Eurocade in the future. There are also some people around that could join the team.

BUT...we already have a gameroom filled with games (mainly videos and some pins) and for now there is no room left for more...it's even too small for all the people (some guys here know what I'm talking about).

We could consider to rent a tent (haha, nice) for the "sitting, eating and drinking" so we would have some space left for cabs but that would depend on the weather.


But let's first see what happens in Dortmund!

Not really because where would you leave all the cabs that people would bring ?

The Lair will be a permanent arcade museum where people can play and have fun, a great place to be.

But Eurocade is all about collectors bringing one or more of their cabs to a central place where they meet, play on each other's game and have fun.

Both are very nice, but different things.

I mean it can be combined one year : I've a large area available around the Lair. A temporary tent may be added without no problem for collectors games.
With the amount of games already on site + the games from collectors = an hell of Arcade meeting
