Anyone interested in brand new HV cups ?
« on: September 15, 2011, 10:53:01 PM »
Found a source for these. However, I am NOT sure (yet) if they can be fitted on Hantarex 900 monitors, BUT they are great to replace a broken or bad HV cup on regular (single wire) HVT's.

Price would be about 3/4 Euro's each (ex. Shipping to you).

Let me know who wants and how many.

No-one ?? Can't believe no-one needs these....?

We're talking about these:

As you can see you can cut off the original cable near the old cup and then insert the cable end into the "connector" of that cup. I asked the seller and that's what it's for exactly...

I'm going to order 5 at least (minimum quantity) so let me know ASAP.

Again, these would be ideal to replace the crumbly cups on Hantarex 900's BUT I am not sure yet if we can transplant these because of the awkward extra wire plus "case" near the HV cup....my idea was to remove the cup itself from that connector and do the same thing with the original cup. Gave it a short try on a (working) 900 but it wasn't planning on letting go very easily.... of course you could cut the old one away.
