On this day 18 years ago, our favorite blue hedgehog was unleashed upon the world and helped change the course of video gaming forever. Sonic the Hedgehog was released in North America and Europe on June 23, 1991, but Japanese gamers had to wait until late July to get their hands on the game, heh heh.  ;)

Ok...  Let's have some cake now!!   ;D    Just a little trivia...  I didn't discover Sonic The Hedgehog untill the Fall of 1991.... (basically when it was released in the US)  My friend bought it first, I played it.. and the rest is history!!   :D  :D  :D
