nope, but i guess it wouldn't create any "mountains", just plain splatters!

update: i've received the "schrumpflack" today, but i'm not happy with the results. although it creates a rough uneven surface. it doesn't look the least like the painted coin doors. DAMN!!! 

the search goes on ... any more suggestions???

It's a well known brand here, can get it at about every DIY store/paint store.
That link goes to a company in The Netherlands that seem to import it for Europe.

If they can't provide you a local source, let me know and I'm pretty sure I can buy it here.

Went to the DIY store today, but instead of Rustoleum they had a lot of Hammerite paints. Those don't look like what you want though....

I'll try and investigate a bit further for you....

Found this on-line store that sells about all Rust-oleum products, but all in boxes (like 6 spray cans at once)...:

i wouldn't mind getting six spray cans at once, but i haven't found the rustoleum black textured on the link you posted. however, my dutch s****, so perhaps i missed it!

to be honest, i don't think that rustoleum carries the black textured over here in europe. shouldn't it be listed on their european website if they did?

Well it looks like Rustoleum is the way to go according to this article:

this guy states: "I've chosen a satin black finish to cover these doors only because it's hard to find Rustoleum's black textured paints where I live. If you have the option, go with the Rustoleum."

Not sure if it is "exactly" the American version but I was at the store, saw it and didn't want to go back so I bought it.

Evt. I could spray a small part for you and make pics. If you don't like it, don't worry, I will keep it.

It was €15,70 for 0,5 liter.

Just read on the can that the Rust-oleum factory for Europe is actually right here in The Netherlands....

andré, YOU'RE THE MAN!!! as you've suggested, please do me the favor and make a spray sample to see if it works out the way it should. I'm pretty sure it does, the cap of the spray can looks great!

i'm wondering: why can't i find that stuff here in germany (i don't know how many different home depots i've been to), after all, the writing on the cap is in FREAKIN' GERMAN, so this product should be available here.

i'll do some further research, but if i come up with nothing, would you mind getting a second spray can for me (perhaps even a third)? after all, this will cost some money to send them to germany and why not use the space in the package then?
