So it turns out that Phil Bennett's brother has been working on emulating Galaxian3. It is not yet playable, and it is slow and buggy, but it is still being worked on. I congratulate you all on having lived long enough to see this.

Damn… I had stopped believing this would ever happen. Years of waiting, thinking it was a lost cause… and now, finally, things are moving!

Yes, I just went to check and indeed the latest message is full of hope ("Ok, I can report I am making progress. I've enough to do another teaser, but I'm trying to think ahead to something better"). Thanks for the notification.
