Galaxian 3 Funworld Updates (Last Update: gunner 6 aim issues)

As of January 31st, 2026 (when I last played), the front speakers are now almost impossible to hear. After discussing this with one of the volunteer techs, he said it is most likely an amplifier issue. Here's to hoping it gets fixed!

As of March 18th, 2026, the sound issues still remain. I'm unsure when Phil and the rest of the volunteer techs are returning, but after talking to one of them recently they stated they would relay this info to the others volunteer, so there IS progress being made

Thank you for the update.
It would be highly valuable to establish direct communication with the Japanese team and review their emulation approach for the laserdisc, as this remains the most critical and sensitive component of Galaxian Theater...

As of March 28th, 2026, gunner 6 no longer aims horizontally. I am not sure if this issue, or any other issues with the game have since been fixed, but this is most likely not the case. New updates will come soon if anything changes!

The gunner 6 is rarely used… especially in 2026  . On my Galaxian Theater, I had installed the flight yoke that was in the worst condition in the position 6… and anyway, that was the spot usually taken by the weaker players or the casuals. 
But well, for a public operation like theirs, it’s still better if everything works properly of course.

As of now, the cabinet has several issues despite being playable. Gun 6 has had the coin slots taped over due to the aim failing. The audio was functional briefly, but is now silent except for the gun towers. Most concerningly, the left Laserdisc is having an issue where it loses sync with the right side and seemingly skips back to the start if the track. This happens most often on the Zolgear Brain Core, but occasionally affects the title screen in the attract mode.
