Question on price for Dragon's lair Coloring book
« on: May 07, 2009, 02:56:25 AM »
Hi guys!

Quick question...There are 2  up for auction on ebay 1984 Dragon's Lair Coloring books made by Marvel Books with the cover featuring Dirk taking the sword out of the casket and Singe breathing fire at him and its titled "The Quest for the Stolen Fortune" and its activity book/coloring book/puzzle book.

1st book- started at $20 with $11 shipping= $31 so far with 2 days left...uncolored but has a scratch on the cover
2nd book- is at $29 with $4 shipping=$33 so far with 3 days left uncolored but has a price sticker and slight shelf wear on the edges.

My question is what are these Coloring books worth?
If I bid whats a reasonable ceiling on bidding or is it overpriced already?

BTW--I am looking to buy all of the coloring books/childrens books and Fleer cards in there wax packs unopened so I can make a complete mint card set/sticker set alont with retail box they were sold in if anyone ever has them for sale please let me know....oh I also need a mint complete Dragon's Lair lunchbox.

thanks!

I dont get how 3 of the 4 came up in your search?

I use "Dragons Lair" in my search and the Fleer cards with box,the fleer set and 1 of the lunchboxes dont come up????

What trick is that Dexter?

ALso would you know a good price for the coloring book?

I search dragons lair. I then did dragons lair lunch and dragons lair cards

One thing to note, ALWAYS click on Buy Now tab as almost always you'll find more stuff listed.

As for the book, pay what you are happy to pay. I was happy to pay almost $100 for a signed CD-i Dragon's Lair and I almost bought a sealed Space Ace 3DO for $150 till I found a mint opened one for $30

Just depends on what you want to pay for something.

thanks for the tips Dexter :)

I hear you about what to pay for an item but I dont want to be schilled on an item because I want it.

Is $30 reasonable for this coloring book?
