Jan did not post a word here, so I guess there will be nothing in Prague.

so, there will be no Eurocade?
Any other location that can hold the event?
Somewhere in the U.K maybe?

If nobody picks up the glove, perhaps we should try to head to Arcadeclub outside Manchester in Autumn? I know the UKVAC guys had a meetup there last October, so if they are doing it again and we could get our trip to coincide with that it would be extra supercool.

If anybody wants to take a trip to Oslo to play the eleven or so games I have running in my house (aka the Arctic Arcade :P) and drink some beer they are of course welcome, but except for private collections I don't think there is anywhere here that can compare to previous Eurocade locations.

Well Arch, I guess it also depends on how many people will show up?

UK sounds really great too!

I really hope there will be a Eurocade 2017....wherever it may be, it whatever form it may be.

The best thing about this hobby was for me in the meetings we had....

Well, it seems that we are out of time so to speak.   Decision  time looms.

You could just go for Arcade Club around mid September.  Manchester has loads of flights available, and I'm sure you could do Leeds Bradford or Newcastle and take a train. Hell even Liverpool or Birmingham are only a few hours away.

Make it happen.  If there are no good flight deals, keep checking.  Chances are you will get a deal at some point (prices may go up as well as down,  depending on demand).  Or you can always take the ferry to Newcastle or Hull and drive the rest.

Whatever happens, make it a DLF rule that Eurocade suggestions must be in by April and a final decision on May 01 perhaps.  Give every one a chance to plan ahead.

In wintertime it always an option to organize in my gamehall in my restaurant in the Netherlands restaurant is closed then I can provide drinks and small bite. But have no time to organize it  its a little bit far away throughout for most people begint in zeeland. But because its a tourist spot lots hotels etc in the surroundings.

The UKVAC meet at Arcade Club follows in the evening after the Play Expo Manchester show (UK's largest game event heavily featuring retro) on 14th October. It sounds like an excellent weekend if people want to stay over. Also at Manchester will be the UK Sky Skipper reveal, and John Jacobson from John's Arcade.
