When I look at the 2600 version now I think its looks mega - boring but my memory tells me I rather enjoyed it BITD....but then....you paid 10 guilders to rent it for a week, and apart from the few games we owned I had no choice but to play it. This way you sometimes learned to like/love games you might haven't tried a second time else.....this is so different from today's way of flipping through everything....a bit like putting on a vinyl album which kinda forces you to listen to all songs on at least that side of the record.....you discovered songs you might skip now because you don't like the very beginning.....

OK wandering off....

well, even if the game would suck, it would still be very coul to recreate one machine in some way

Exactly !! And the arcade versions are almost always a LOT better......I hated Centipede on the 2600, love the arcade version.

It's a great game
Totally over looked
Give it ago
I think I reviewed it on the ten pence arcade pod cast ages ago.
Anyway I will be making a upright cab for this so I need a Popeye cabinet and some art work made up if any one is interested ?
I wanted to use the flyer for the side art but I need someone who is good with computers to take the cocktail cab out of the picture and fill in the caps.
Anyone up for the challenge or know of anyone ?

Below is the marquee if you don't already have that image (looks like the aspect ratio needs to be tweaked a little).  I have a tiny color photo of a Sky Skipper upright from a Japanese trade magazine but will have to scrounge around on some hard drives to find it, but would be at least some sort of reference for the bezel/CP colors.

Thanks Stev that would be fantastic if you could, I'll have to get a artist who can get rid of the water mark on the marque and re draw the bezel art so if you have any pictures please let me know
Thank you so much
