Great podcast 
Green Beret was a fantastic game... and I remember it was a very hard game in the arcade, that's why I didn't put too much money in it... but I loved it so bad!
I was waiting like a mad man for the Amstrad port of the game... I dreamed while I was looking its beautiful ad' in the magazine  And, as you say ... what a great cover picture! 
But I was a little bit disappointed with that amstrad version... the scrooling!!! ...or I should say the lack of scrooling, as usual on amstrad games! 
My friend had the C64 version, which was 100X better!

yes, on my MSX it was also very badly ported

Lets compare them, i am only familiar with the C64 version and the Arcade version.

I agree, the C64 is the best as an Arcade port
