WTB: Buck Rogers cockpit foot pedal assembly
« on: February 26, 2015, 02:53:07 AM »
Hi,
I'm looking for a foot pedal assembly for a Buck Rogers cockpit. It looks like this...

...with a foot pedal on the other side ;)
Thanks,
Paul.

So you need the whole assembly or just the small pcb?

hm, maybe there are other cabs with the same pedal....did you check that?

The whole thing. The PCB I can live without as I can make one up (it's very simple), but I need the mechanicals at least.
I've no idea what might have used this type of pedal - open to suggestions if you have them ;)
Paul.

This one?

Yeah, but there is a good chance the original Sega foot pedal would be fine and is far more likely to find ;)

I was starting collecting cabs. I had no classics at all, only italian low quality bootlegs. And i did nt know the value of a so unique game so i decided to trade it for my asteroids... my first roadtrop and the first time i met speleo... we are talking about 5 girlfriens ago...

Speleo, is AndrĂ©'s guess correct?

I've got the pedal assy. It wasn't that easy due to rusted screws but the hardest job was....tadaa....the very last screw I had to remove to get the metal piece that holds the pedal to the wooden base. The little bugger didn't move more than 2 turns then the head was ruined. I had to put a screwdriver underneath and bend it up so it breaks loose from the wood. The metal piece was bended....sorry :(  But I think it's an easy job to make it straight or even make a new one. I also removed the metal case for the coin box. I will take pics so you can tell me what can be useful for you. There was nothing else left, the controlpanel was gone as well....I've been too late, sorry  :-\   There was nothing to see what you could identify as being a part of the sides...and they are very unique. Maybe someone liked them and he decorated his wall with it  :?

I will take pictures monday evebing and post the on tuesday.

Do you have a thread with your Buck Rogers project? What else is missing?
