Thanks Bari, yes the manual mentions exactly that :)

I think it's still weird it can only handle 230VAC

Great documentation with useful infos! Have you fired them up already? I remember once owning a Intervideo monitor with a broken flyback. After I had changed it the picture was fucking incredible! Great black level and awesome colours. Can't wait to see some pictures here as I can't test mine in the next months, baby stuff etc.  :-\ :)

Woohoo, great news buddy.....sorry I only congratulate after everything went smooth.....I got my reasons for that....

About less important things, I guess you wanted to see this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yb5fVSuyIys

Not bad all in all....but the focus in the corners is a bit.....meeeehhhh...I actually expected this. The probable reason is the flatter screen and I guess they didn't bother to compensate this in the chassis design.
There's also some  convergence errors in the corners, but those are, as they say "within factory spec" I guess :)

All in all, I am REALLY happy with it. The colors are nice and vibrant, it runs very quite and it's brand new for a great price.

Oh by the way, that is Craftymech's fantastic TPG at work with Buffet's cable that I modified to include a Hantarex connector.

Oh I also tested it with the med-res signal that the TPG can also create but this monitor is 100% low-res/15kHz :)

Thanks again for the great tip !!

I put the Intervideo and the WG 19k7302 next to each other to compare a bit.

First thing I noticed is that the frame took a couple of bumps. but nothing I can't correct....

The pictures say enough I guess. The difference is pretty clear, but it's not like I wouldn't put that more square looking one in one of my cabs.....

Yes it's a bit bigger, the visible area is 51cm. diagonal, compared to 49cm. to the WG. That's not THAT much difference.

The difference looks a bit bigger in vertical position. I might want to reserve this one for a horizontal game.

More comparing "near flat" to "round"....

The depth doesn't differ that much, but it COULD be the difference between "fits" and "does not fit"....

I noticed that there are also Elna caps and I saw one Daewoo on board.

I tested a couple of them (also the Letons and well) for now they are all within spec. Not by a large margin mind you, but in spec.....

Also tried to see what flyback is in there....it's a HR Diemen from Spain for sure....I can't find anything with those numbers though, but I think the numbers might be from the pots part only ?

While I had it out I also connected the WG (no ISO needed and "eats" all voltages) to mains and the TPG and I must say that all in all I tend to like the Intervideo picture better. The WG has less loss of focus in the corners and less convergence error in the corners too.

Not saying the WG is terrible....it's good for sure.

Hi Andre, thanks for the thread and all the informative pictures.
I might have a lead on one of these myself, and I find myself wondering about the frame/bracket. Do you think it will fit in a cab ment for a 19" monitor in the sense that the holes in the bracket corresponds?
Cheers,
