FS: Wico XY Pattern Generator Repro
« on: January 08, 2015, 08:09:41 PM »
I've just let works the Wico XY Pattern Generator repro.

Schematic on the network has some inaccuracies so unluckily this first pcb release has several fixes.

Final PCB release is ready to send in production but I'm waiting to know the eventual interest.

Even enclosure will be available on request as you can see on photos even It's just a prototype and will be obviously improved.

Still don't know the exact price, just looking for interested people.

Thanks for your attention,

Piero

Yes I'm interested. I guess it only creates the XY and Z signals so no power voltages for the monitor ?

yes it's right no voltage for monitor. Did you think could be interesting to have even a power supply for the monitor?

Here the instructions

Also suggest you post this over on KLOV as well (if you have not done so yet)

Sccording to the manual, yes. AND for B/W-monitors...I still do not understand why b/w-monitor seem to work similiar to vector but no raster monitors :-\

Yes, it's only for vector B/W ad COLOR

Even a raster bar generator is available if you want. Small and working with just a 9V battery

Well...my dream is to be able to repair vectors on my workbench without needing any real vector game around.

However, that would mean having a range of power supplies on the bench too....

I fact, I started investigating all the various voltages that vectors need. I know the differences are "small" but they are big enough to damage monitors if you use the wrong voltages.

By the way, very cool that you got it running without the errors posted earlier on KLOV, well done !!!!
