Rare White TURBO Outrun Deluxe
« on: December 22, 2014, 02:37:52 PM »
I'm accepting offers for my extremely rare White Turbo Outrun Deluxe, if the price is right I shall also throw in an original Outrun pcb as well as the Turbo pcb.
This machine is working, however I've turned motion off with dipswitches because I have no idea how much grease is still on the gears.
It was featured in Retro Gamer magazine and almost all the pictures of the White Turbo Outrun on the internet are mine and of my machine, therefore you probably have seen these pictures before but I'd like you to know that they are of the exact machine that is on offer.

What inscription do you mean?
Incidentally, my steering wheel does come with the horse logo, its just not in the photographs.

Nice to see another one... I think over the years I came to know of about six units now.
Does yours have an official manual as well?

I think he means the "SEGA" and "OUT RUN" white letters on the tires ?

What would a reasonable offer be on this .....I have no clue ! Does it run Out Run or Turbo Out Run....and if so can you run the original game on it ?

the one on my photo was bought on auction for 230€ . screen was broken the rest was working . It is as you may know not the real value for such baby but since the first bider was a good guy we all decided to stop bid . For such cab I would say to my opinion around 400 500 € .

The berzek on the back is empty unfortunately .  :'(

Regular Deluxe's can fetch 1250 Euro's and more depending on condition, I've seen on Marktplaats.
This is rarer, and plays Outrun as well as Turbo Outrun depending on which pcb you insert.

I own 2 outrun deluxe and if the pcb's are interchangeable it would be great but does it also move with both games?
Would buy a turbo outrun board for 1 of the deluxe if it all work 100% when swapt.

For such cab I would say to my opinion around 400 500 € .

damn overpaid bigtime if that's the going price.  :'(
Oh well, it's my holy grail cab, so must willing to pay more for those ones I guess.  :)

The cab moves with both Outrun and Turbo Outrun. Swapping boards works 100%

Nope, there are both left and right handed shift versions of Out Run, depending for what market they were intended.

Some OutRun Deluxe machines (ones only shipped to "right hand shifting" countries?) have mounting brackets on both sides so that the shifter can be installed on either side, and a blank plate installed on the side not in use.
