Last roadtrip.....
« on: November 10, 2014, 11:20:10 AM »
Yesterday we went for a trip to get some machines who had been left in place about 18 months ago .....
The owner was really friendly and helpful waiting all this time..... <-lol->
We were really busy between commitments, other things to do, a lot of laziness and lack of desire to do more than 900km trip we always put off until yesterday.
We had already been there so we knew well what was waiting for us and what else we could have taken this time.
Moral of the story we left at 3 am to go back to 6pm, after spending about 4 hours and a half to looking for good stock of spare parts or details of other things that could serve us....
Let's start with the pictures....

We start with:

This is our third .......
But we took it because it really seemed like out of the factory, and it was definitely the best of the three we have.....
Probably one of the three deluxe will be sacrified and cannibalized for reasons of space ....: |
As for the other two are still undecided whether to put the monitor Hantarex 40 "4: 3, or a 16:9 lcd and change the game in Sega Racing Classic .....
We will see the feasibility later ....

Here is a cab that I've never even seen in picture, if not from the flyer:

Wonderful machine and really a good game.......
In very very good state, with the protective plastic still on it.
Of course, it's original Japanese machine .... <-wub->

Then a piece of gaming history .....

Too bad the cab is a bootleg with a pcb of enduro racer bootleg .... :(
I believe in fact that the cab is original in itself, but that it was "customized" for the bootleg market.......

Finally took a cab just to make up the numbers, a game really bad .... (rad rally)

The only thing I like about this machine is the fact that is Japanese and is in excellent condition ....
For the rest of the game sucked even when it came out on the Saturn .....

Here instead is an overview of some very beautiful machines that we did not take, because modified and no more originals....

Both very beautiful .... shame that had been modified ....

Ok let's load all in the van....

That's all for now....
I think long time will pass before we go again in a roadtrip....
Too much machines to take care of now.....and the space is nearly over.....

Yes but inside there aren't sega parts....
All seems to be bootleg....not only the enduro racer board.
I really hop i can be able to convert back to Space Harrier...

We now have too much machines to take care of and firstly we need to take care of the new gameroom that needs many works to be good for us....
And not only....
We have two completely restored machine (sega hang on limited and after burner dx) that are in pieces, waiting for us to mount them back....from more than 3 months now..... :(

Thank you.
Yes space harrier is great....
Shame that it's a bootleg....
But i cannot understand how it's possible that the cabinet itself is the same as the real space harrier cabinet from sega.....
How can those clones be exactly like the original one?
They come from the same factory and then sell to the "aftermarket" market?
But in this case, why Sega let's them do this??
 ???

It probably was converted by the operator, a very common practice when machines didn't earn enough money anymore or if they died.

Poor thing....

I don't know....
It's strange because there are no Sega stickers or Sega parts inside.
Just the "wood" seems the original one.....and the sidearts of course....

don't set limits to the italian art of reproduction. only chinese are better than us ;)

yes ALL sega parts have serial numbers, including small parts. that's strange but a good find anyway.
