The car is a Mazda.
Actually, it's a Eunos Roadster, the Japanese version of the Mazda MX5/Miata.
I've actually played one of those machines in Leysdown. It's in poor condition though.
Most of the sounds missing, inner door panel hanging off, loose steering wheel, misaligned projectors, 1(possibly 2 now) non working projectors, loose seat, loose pedals... The list goes on... :(
Maybe you can rescue it!? That's if it's still there, of course... :P
I enjoy reading about arcade cabinets. I don't own one though... :(

played the twin version with a red and a yellow mazda (i also thought it was labled as mx5 back then when i played it but i might be wrong) in London.
found it bloody hard to drive but it was one of the most impressive setups ever.... especially because it was located close to the Galaxian 3.

What a great place the London Trocadero Center once used to be. :(
Looking for Dragons Lair 1 or 2, Space Ace, Double Dragon, Robotron and yeah... a Shinobi would be cool, too!

Speaking about Galaxian Theater, In my looooog quest to find anything Galaxian3 related on the web, I've never seen a single picture or video of the GT6 located at the Troc'  :'(
