this one goes out to our dutch members!!! for those of you who think i've only been SELLING stuff recently - you're wrong! i've also BOUGHT something - THIS

one of those beauties was listed on marktplaats (which i didn't get), but the seller decided to sell me HIS machine instead. Patrick "anunaki" who lives in the same town as the seller was kind enough to pick the baby up for me, currently it is in his storage. Patrick has also offered to ship the machine over here, but perhaps there's another alternative - the famous EADS (Europena Arcade Distribution Service). It has worked its magic quite a few times already, so why not now?

Here's where we stand: currently the machine is located in Spijkernisse (which is where Patrick lives) and the best case scenario would be to get the game roughly 180 kilometers east to where Erik "ckong" lives (a town called Barchem), because he will be coming over shortly to pick up the Pleiads he bought from me on ebay. Complicated? NO! Doable? I hope so!!!

Is there anyone of you Dutch guys living in the vicinity of Spijkernisse who could grab the Red Tent from Patrick and bring it east to Erik? Of course, I'd pay you for your services, as long as it doesn't cost more to have the game shipped ;D

C'mon, show us once again what the EADS is all about!!! :spaceace: :spaceace: :spaceace:
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

well, this makes me feel we could figure out something.

Eric will be in Zoetermeer on October 11th. I have to work that day, but I´m dropping some Naomi monitors on or shortly before that date. I could bring the red tent also so Eric can take it with him.

Only thing is I don´t know if it will fit his car

It´s in storage at Vlaardingen now

** Was already typing this response but Patrick's suggestion is probably better :) **

Hi Ully,

Cool that the seller sold you his own red tent!

About transportation, It might be possible for me to pick it up.
This sunday Tup (Alex) and I are going on a roadtrip from Goes (South-West of NL) to Hengelo (near Barchem) to pick up an Asteroids and Centipede cabinet.
I would take me about 1,5 hour extra to stop in Spijkenisse and Barchem I guess.

So unless someone else has a better option, we could do it.

two great options, guys, of course it would make more sense (and would be easier) if patrick could pass the cab on to erik directly, but in case this doesn't work, joeks' alternative also sounds nice. let's hear from erik, please  ;D

It will fit,  I will put it on it right,  or left,  side and still have a few cm's left.

Ask gyruss where sound & vision got theirs. They are nice and pretty light to move.
