Vernimark this is great stuff - are you going to print with this? I hope so.  If you do a kickstarter I'll back it.

I have to ask, will there be an English translation?   :spaceace:

yep I decided to write it in 2 languages because, after all, Zaccaria is Italian :)

I'll print it for sure, few copies for me and for forum people want it.  :D

Great work! Don't forget Sea Scare in the UR1 list. Other games have been seen in this cab style but it's unknown if they are distributor conversions or factory. IIRC I've seen Phoenix that looks like it had a real Zac marque and a real Zac control panel in the UR1 style (art same as Astro Wars otherwise IIRC).

I Will only accept a copy on three conditions:

- signed by the author
- handed to me by the author
- with a kiss from the author's GF ;);););););););)

...and I included Space Invaders into UR1 list because it has a dedicated side art. I thnk if we include all conversion kit probably we have to cover all 1980 to 1983 productions :)

Hehe, yes, there are a bunch of conversions out there making it a bit hard to determine which may have been factory and which were third party. The Firebird marque is 3rd party I think as it's cut & print is not consistent with the Zaccaria factory marques.

Phoenix is an odd one - there is this cab with a Zaccaria art marque:

...but the real piece of interest is this control panel that turned up with a Leisure Games moniker:

The Invaders was likely a factory conversion kit - all of the artwork is applique over the Dodgem artwork - yes, the side art is one huge sticker I'm told. I've seen at least two of them that are consistent.

Paul.

I second that!

A printed version would be the ideal addition to my copy of Federico Croci's "Tilt" book on italian pinballs!  :spaceace:
