Superully wants a claw machine ... a MR CLAW machine!!!

you guys might think i'm crazy, but for quite a while now i've been wanting to add a claw machine to my gameroom, because it's nice to have some variety in there. of course, this would be stuffed to the top with arcade and movie related stuffed toys (mario etc) - just like this



i have to admit, there are really ugly claw machines out there, but there is one i've really grown fond of. i like the design and i like the name: MR CLAW



remember the belgian warehouse that andré discovered? i've been going through some old pictures because i remembered that there was a lot of other stuff apart from arcade machines and guess what ...



a MR CLAW machine!!! i immediately contacted captain america and asked him if he could get in touch with the warehouse owner, because afaik he was the last guy from this forum to talk to him when he rescued the canyon bomber. the captain succeeded, but i was bummed when i heard the asking price: 700 euros. WTF? are you serious, warehouse dude?

i know those machines are pretty expensive and mr claw is not an old obsolete model, but i didn't expect THAT much . with that being said, i STILL want a MR CLAW machine and i don't know if the guy from the warehouse was just drunk or in a bad mode or didn't react as everyone else would have to captain america's sexy voice, but perhaps that price is negotiable. let's raid that warehouse and get all the claw machines and kiddie rides so that Superully gets a great price for the Mr Claw

OR does someone from this forum know someone who knows someone who knows someone who (blablabla) wants to sell me a Mr Claw?

Bit of a coincidence, just today my girlfriend and I were talking we should get a crane/claw machine for all our kids stuffed toys
They have so much of that stuff lying around, would be perfect to store them in. And right before bedtime, they can try to catch one or more to cuddle with.

I might look like Captain America on the outside but my true identity is Captain Arcade!
Also: my Dutch is world famous to be pathetic so maybe a more fluent guy could indeed give it a try.
I called the father, he talked with his son and the son called me back.

(They still have 2 Enduro Racers in there btw but I might be the only one to love that game here)

Quite incidentally............I "played" a claw machine for the first time in my life during our summer holiday a few weeks ago.

We were in Cambridge again and of course we had a short visit to the leisure center which is as close to an arcade you can posibly come these days, I am already happy to see the machines were still there and in fact a lot had changed but I'll post some pics about that later.

Anyway claw machines, there were about 6 of them and 4 were filled with minions ! My son loves the minions and well, I do too, who doesn't

So I thought what the hell lets give it a try. The tags said 30p per play, 4 plays for 1 pound. The first pund got me four plays and there were some narrow misses (as they are programmed to do). Then I switched machine because I saw one minion laying well poisitioned. For some weird reason the machine gave me 5 plays instead of 4 and of course I succeeded scoring the minion at the last try

It is so stupid , I think I actually jumped in joy and my son did too.

Now I understand the psychological effect of them.....because now I thought it would be easy to get another out......but we waited till next day. However, all machines stopped working next day for some reason and well.....one minion doll is enough anyway but it is tempting and yes it is fun.....if you succeed
