Oh I knew....yes I knew BITD......I kept falling in those damn pits in the beginning (like anyone else) and it took 2,5 minutes to "hover" out of one (not really, but it felt like that).
I actually played it and completed it a couple of times. I never had the game, my brothers' ex did (then still his GF).
There are much worse games for sure. But it is not something I would dig up to play again these days

However, we (my brother and I) actually liked Pac Man for the 2600 too. No it wasn't arcade accurate, but what did we know at the time.....we had PAC MAN AT HOME !!! WHO cared the ghosts were flickering like hell !!!

If you want to see what the 2600 CAN do for a Pac game have a look at Ms.Pac Man for it, very nice port.
People forgot the thing had only 128 BYTES of RAM and only 4Kb games...
