That's a very simple question. Because they have nothing to do with arcade. Obviously those guys are into casemodding and building and designing stuff. So if they do a "Frankencade" or a crazy washing machine is emotionally the same. Nobody wants to use that thing. they build it, it's there, people (which are mostly also none involved in arcade gaming) will have their "ooooh" and "aaaahhhh" moments and that's it.
