Jamma to scart tv ?
« on: June 02, 2014, 02:01:22 PM »
Hello,

I would like to make a jamma harness to scart tv ?

Is there a correct diagram to do this?

I have one, but I can't seem to have one stabilized picture ?

here is the link where I found the diagram

http://www.arcade-system.com/index.php/articles/36-montage-de-composants-conversions-a-creations/433-supergun-construisez-votre-propre-acade-systeme?start=3

Thanks...

For my cable I have used this one:

and it worked 'out of the box' :)

Looks like a sync problem

Could be a confused sync pin. They're crossed on the scart-plugs, it's either pin 19 or 20.

On pin20 sync the value of the resistance is different from me, 390ohms and 1k.

My diagram is less complete.

The project is 60in1 pcb jamma to tv

Done this with quite a few tvs and never needed any resistor.

Hello,

it works, but then what is the difference with transistors resistors?

the image is a bit on the left side...

Depending on the tv model you'll have to find out whether there's a service mode (access via remote) or look on the chassis if there's a pot for horizontal shift.

Tv Goldstar CB-20A86 chassis PC53A.

I can not find a correct service mode but I have a .pdf Explains horizontal adjustment " the H shift control VR401 "

What transistors? Or do you mean resistors?

I just can say that I have tried it on a Grundig TV and I had sync issues without the resistor.

I did not take any risks, I did the wiring with resistors
