Stockholm arcade exhibit | GAME ON 2.0
« on: June 01, 2014, 02:31:05 PM »
If you happen to visit Stockholm this summer, be sure to check out the arcade exhibit at the Tekniska Museet (National Museum of Science and Technology) for a nice exhibit with lots of arcade cabs and  classic videogame consoles. This is the Barbican international enterprises touring exhibition "Game On" that has visited major cities around the world.

The pictures below show a part of the arcades, you'll love how they displayed the classic consoles too. Apart from Pong and the two Computer Spaces everything is playable (although you can play a cool projection version of Pong on the wall).

Here's a list of what's shown, absolutely worth a visit. If you ever wanted to visit Stockholm -a GREAT city by the way - now's the time!   :)

Cheers, Marco
Wanted: everything Universal , Stern and Gottlieb. Currently looking for Computer R3, Curve Ball, Goal to Go, Jungler, Fast Draw, Limbo, No Man's Land and Speed Coin.

Been there twice (the City, not the 2.0 exhibition).

Very easy travel even by ryanair.

If you go...take the June date with symphonic Videogame concert.
