circus has gone...
« on: March 24, 2014, 04:38:39 AM »
One i closed turbo resto i was so happy to have all games working. My happyness went on for 5 minutes because after that 2 games broke: circus and baby pacman. Let's start with circus.

I have 5v if pcb is not connected and 0.8v if board is connected. It doesn't seem to be a pcb problem, I suppose something is going wrong into the ps.

Ps is a small board between the transformer and the tv m5010-155

Do you have this small board schematics? It is in the left side of the picture, just behind the transformer

Motorola?
Then maybe this helps: http://www.arcade-museum.com/manuals-monitors/Motorola_XM_Series_Technical_Repair_Manual.pdf

great document but actually I'm not sure there are schematics of my PS.
Anyway I need help from everyone  :P because this PS has strange components.. Here the pics of the PS end of the components I don't know at all.

The problem is: when the board is connected I have 2v instead of 5v, when board is not connected I have 4.5v and the PS needs 5 seconds to reach this voltage

I'd like to understand if I can buy these components or their equivalents...

Hi Marco, try the DIP8 - it's a LM741. For the rest see attached. I guess it comes close.

Yes!
I remade some soldering.
I'm quite scared that PS could not work one day with so strange unknown components!!

Thanks! ;D
