Yeah, it was an great evening guys!
Too bad I had to leave in a rush...  :-\
Anyway, I really enjoyed that moment with you guys, and I'm already a big fan of your new local!  :spaceace:
I really appreciated when you opened the door, and the DJ was playing... TRON LEGACY tunes... smog, laser beam... smell of the games... I LOVE THAT!  :-*

The 'star game' for me was -with no doubt- that fantastic SAGAIA cabinet  :-* :-* :-*

First time I've seen it for real, and, cherries on the cake... it was playable!  :-*

I also appreciated playing for the first time Capcom's Forgotten Worlds, with the proper panel and its famous spinner/button!
Damn, why I can't resist playing Xevious again and again again  ;D
Just a small detail : Although I really loved the DJ selection (wooaww, Herbie Hancock "Future Shock", Tron,...), I regret it was impossible to hear the sounds of the games  :P  Maybe the DJ music was a little bit to high IMHO...

Also have great moment with Zamoth, and our versus on Marble Madness... you won the first game, I won the second one... next time we'll compete to see who's the best!  ;D
Oh, also appreciated to see Zam' almost finishing Ghosts 'N Goblins... impressive skill my friend! Because of you, I badly want to play it now  ;D

Soo yeah, definitively put my name on the list for the next event guys!

Next meeting 10/10/2015!

The french website shmup.com is proud to announce the upcoming event "Cave Carnival" with CoinOp Legacy !!

For the 1st time in France, shmup addicts can meet in the middle of no less than 50 arcade cabinets, half of them dedicated to their favorite genre.

Around 15 cabs will be installed with Cave titles, some rarities like Ibara Kuro Black Label, DDP SaiDaiOuJou, Akai Katana, MushihimeSama Futari Black Label, Dangun Feveron, ESP Ra. De. or Guwange Blue Label.

In addition to the Cave festa, CoinOp offers the opportunity to play dedicated cabs like Sagaia (Darius 2), or Lost Worlds (with rotary stick/buttonish thing), Defender, Tempest, Xevious, Asteroïd Deluxe and other rarities like Shmup Skill Test, After Burner 2, Space Harrier or Thunder Blade.

During the event, Mld and Yami9999 will make the show, running Progear no Arashi and ESP Ra. De. live.

A contest will also be organized during the event, on a mystery Cave shmup, with prizes.

This unique night will happen on October the 10th starting from 6PM. You can book a place to attend the event online.

CoinOp Legacy arcade is located in the south of Paris in Vitry-sur-Seine (access by local train), details will be mailed if you subscribe a couple of days before the event.
