Yes I agree, this looks pretty damn cool for its time, definitely not just a stupid clone....

Well the actual cabinet yes
But inside the control panel is different
But most early cocktails left spaces on the inside of the buttons for over games
In other words they used the same CPo but just covered the spaces the didn't need .
I think this game only had a jap release

Borrowed from UKvAC:

Quote from: Chuckie egg
Today I got tweeted by a Japanese collector of a very rare Nintendo game no one had ever seen before only in flyers.
So like my sheriff trimline this game has only ever been seen on a flyer so it was amazing to see one actually existed.
Unfortunately the picture was taken 20 years ago and the game may not even exist any more, nevertheless it's amazing to see.
Monkey magic is a simple breakout game which features a monkeys face as the center point of game play
Japan release only in 1979

Yo Chuckie, looks like you missed Ataritoobin's post....right on top of this page.....already has a link to that video.
The question is: why does this guy seem to have a running board so why aren't the ROMs in MAME yet ? :D

Love the sounds and the laughing monkey when he is Game Over.

Yea sorry level 42 I missed that

It's very strange set up there
It's probably In Japan where they don't have the room for the cab which is probably destroyed.
Hopefully I can track it down this year that's my goal.
And to at least get the owner to burn it on to mame
Does look like a great game
Great post buddy  :)
