next step...
I used a Primer to prepare the surface to the final color.
once the primer was on the surface I use a sponge in order to emulate the original irregular pattern.
once it was dry I sprayed it black.
that's all

(I renewed sear shift know too with a thing I can't translate. It is used to protect parque. wheel has been renewed too, I'll post pictures soon)

Wow, did not know about this method to  remove cigs, well done. ;)
Nice to see, that the gear knob went to a working machine after so many years of sitting in my shelf. :D

actually I dunno, PS has gone for sure. 5V rised up till 7.5. When I disconnected the 5V connector rised up till 16V and then smoked.
I hope boards are save.
Next week more tests
