Well ME of course......but I didn't end up with it  

Sent the seller a mail yesterday evening that I agreed with his asking price of €100. So he agreed and put it on "reserved".
We also discussed picking it up today or tomorrow. It didn't work out today, but when driving home he called me.

A man who was supposed to pick up the NIB 10" monitor that the seller also advertised on Marktplaats showed up. Seller and buyer had agreed €75 for the 10" monitor.

The seller wasn't home but his girlfriend was. She thought he was there for the 10" but he claimed it was for the 19" (maybe he knew about it, maybe not).
So, confused she let him go with MY 19" monitor which I would have paid €100 for....

If I were the seller I would have hunted down that "buyer" and "very gently" told him to return that monitor. What an asshole...

He actually did....and I did some hunting too (as Laszo knows ). It was a guy called Leo so......you know, the buyer could have been wanting to go for the 19" from the start with good intentions and mistakingly using the 10" ad, we'll never know.

The seller actually had contact with the buyer and explained but the buyer said he wanted the 19" from the start and clearly wasn't going to return it.

O well, so be it. A real shame for sure.....who knows where this beauty will end up in.....

Well one thing I know for sure it's not "our" Leo...IF it would have been I'm 100% sure it was a genuine mix-up, I know Laszo good enough he wouldn't do that on purpose. Just want to make clear he has nothing to do with the whole thing, we just had a phone conversation and I explained that what I meant was that it could have been an honest mix-up of 10"/19".

Anyway

I'm over it now for sure. It's sad and would sure be nice to have had but I count the times that I _was_ extremely lucky and I know I have nothing to complain  Still got some spares monitors, one of them NIB so....it's not a disaster.

In the mean time, if anyone is looking for a NIB (!) 10" monitor it is still available AFAIK:
