Atari Canyon Bomber "roadtrip"
« on: February 14, 2013, 06:36:41 PM »
Thanks to Superully, I now have this gem of a game!
Negotiations started bu accident at EC12, and we quickly agreed on a price, it was wrapped almost instantly, so all i needed to do was arrange the courier.... bear in mind this was October last year (!) - but apparently work comes first so fast forward till Sunday last week.
Wrote Dachser, and got a quick reply on Monday, they picked up the game Tuesday, and delivered it to day (Thursday) Speaking about fast delivery, and great service!!!, and the price... 150€ cheap!
Here´s the game in storage with the other gems:

Thanks to Ully for his patience in this deal :spaceace:
Now i only need the monitor, I will contact you shortly! - you know who you are :spaceace:

Unwrapped the game today, and really really liked what i saw
There´s hardly any scratches in the bezel, and the monitor overlay is freaking MINT

This game is excellent for those who get confused by complex controls: One button. That's it :)

holy smokes - are you serious? if i wouldn't need them anytime soon now (and if they weren't patrik's to begin with), i would have asked you to bring them to eurocade. 38 euros is INSANE!!! thanks for posting them anyway ...

unfortunately you can't say that for the vinyl - you need to think of something to fix that / save it. if it stays like that, i'll deteriorate! so glad that you are happy with the overall condition of the machine. i'll be honest here: seeing those pictures makes me miss it somehow, but the game is in good hands at your place and i'm sure i'll be able to play it one day!!! have fun, michael :)

I've good memories on the ZX81 port of the game, but can't remember what was the name of that 'non official' portage...
Love that cabinet!  :-*

Thanks to Chris, i received the 23" BW monitor Wednesday, and i must say, it was wrapped with love and passion  ;D ;D ;D - the skillz the skillz

The box was made of pallet leftovers..

Some screen burn...

I installed the monitor, and because it came from another old Atari game, it was an easy Plug and Play, of course i forgot to take a picture of it, but it wasent working, instead there was smoke coming from this  :-\
