Lone Star Warrior: Geosword
« on: January 15, 2013, 02:25:13 AM »
While I was playing around with Starblade some random thoughts came to mind:

Geosword follows orders from the "Team Leader", but Geosword tends to go off on his (its) own to track down the Enemy Flagship Commander. Shouldn't the "Team Leader" track down the EFC or does Geosword have something to prove?

Also, do you think Geosword is considered a mercenary of the Starblade Team or just an average team member?

Lastly, during the second half of the game during the Iceburg mission, he (it) mentions that the temperature surface on Geosword is rising.
Is there really a pilot controlling Geosword or is Geosword just talking to him(it)self? ???  I have yet to understand the dialog between Geosword/Team Leader ect.

Your opinions are greatly appreciated!

In one of the audio track they say, "on-board flight navigation", I'm assuming the Geosword is piloted by a machine and you are the only one in it.

Thanks for your reply! The dialog in this game is the most confusing I heard. I still have a odd feeling that the ship is the main antagonist and not some "Pilot". Also when Geosword is off tracking down the EFC, you hear the other members of the group communicating through the radio but never see them!

Is it just me or do others agree that the font you use is a lot harder to read than the standard font on this forum, making me not want to read your postings ? I mean, it's a shame if you loose readers of your postings because of choosing a fancy looking, but harder to read font......

Just MHO of course  ;D

I once said on another forum:

"Comic Sans is the single most hideous and revolting font that has ever been designed, and its designer should be severly tortured, shot, maimed, mutilated, burned, hanged, drawn and quartered - in no particular order."

 ;D
No arcade cab(s) yet, but happy owner of 2 Colecovisions, 2 Amigas and a pc running Mame.

Roger Geosword X,

If you don't already have it, I strongly suggest to get this CD :

...where you can clearly listen all the Starblade scenario / dialogs, but also few musics for Galaxian3... what else?  ;)
