Zaccaria Fitter
« on: October 11, 2012, 08:19:55 PM »
Following this topic, I started to clean the cab inside and found an interesting warning on the psu :D

Originally, the plan was to use a Qusar cabinet from my first roadtrip for this project, but this beauty was made in a Space Station cab, so there was no more doubt. ;)
My Old Friend made something with the psu and the voltage dropped to +12V, fortunately we don't need the -5V here. ;)
And finally I have a FIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!! ;D

It was a double luck to find this cab with this cpo, cause my Starspalsh cab don't have any and we also have the scan from the Fitter cpo (thanks to Paul :spaceace:), which is the small one, so it will perfectly fit to this cp, won't have to "erase" screw holes.

The cab is fully working, just have to print a vertical cardboard bezel, it has the horizontal one atm..

Ah, and before you ask, as far as I know, original italian Fitter cabs did not have dedicated sidearts, only the licensed AVG ones later. :D

BTW, should the monitor surround be a plain black one rather than a space one for Fitter? My dedicated is missing the surround, but other none-space cabs of this era had plain black surrounds (e.g. Frogger).

One complete Shooting Gallery is rumored to exist in a collectors hands, but has been off the radar for a number of years.

Regards,
Paul.

Hmmm., you must be right, the milky way wouldn't match for this game. :D
Thanks for the tip. ;)
Btw. I would swap a Star Wars for that Shooting Gallery, I hope the owner will spot this post. ;D

I think, Thoresten (not Luigi) in Germany has some NOS bezel for this one.
