The pinball hall of fame as mentioned above.

In the same vein, but more clubby, there's Insert Coins - http://www.insertcoinslv.com/
Check out Fremont Street while you're there.

Also check out the the Neon Boneyard if they've re-opened - http://www.neonmuseum.org/
Seriously, one of the best things I've seen.

The atomic testing museum is pretty cool too.

And there's always http://www.digthisvegas.com/
findapinball.com - The European pinball locator

Oh, I read lots of tips about Vegas on the KLOV forum. The main one was putting a 20 bucks bill between your id papers and kindly ask for an upgrade of your room....

Here are more from a local:

I used to live in vegas, i can give you all kinds of tips.

1st and foremost, always tell everyone you are a local. Locals dont get charged for basically anything, and what you do is half priced. Locals dont screw locals, its vegas code

ALWAYS tell your cabbie "im a local, take me straight there". Cabbies will always take you the long way, and if youre drunk, will just drive around.

Dont get cocky about free tickets and passes. They litter the streets. They are not worth anything, and are not special. NEVER take them as a pay off.

Most hotels have a locals price, about 60% off, ask for it.

If you spend over 500 gambling, start asking for comps. Your room and food should be free for the weekend.

Slots of fun has dollar blackjack and 1 dollarfor monster hotdogs. ellis island has the best beer in town brewed in hotel, and a dollar a pint!

Always get a players club card for every hotel. They usually come with 10-20 dollars on them. So you can gamble all day for free.

Locals NEVER go to the strip, unless friends are in town or something. The most fun you can have in vegas is within 6 blocks of the strip. Orleans, terribles, ellis island, sams town are all great strip alternatives.

If you see street hustlers, the gimmick is to get you playing by making your first hundred bucks super easy to win. Take it, then walk away 100 bucks richer

I went to Vegas in 2010 for my 40th and i had a fantastic time.Freemont Street is a must but if you are staying near the strip either get a taxi to Freemont or there are 2 buses that go there (one's a 'double decker' bus called 'The Deuce' and the other is one of them long 'bendy busses' and thats called 'The Gold Line') whatever you do don't try and walk to Freemont as its one hell of a walk also Freemont is in 'Downtown Las Vegas' and the residential area before freemont is quiet a dodgy area and not advisable to walk through...

Also if you do go into any of the casinos just as long as you are 'seen' gambling on either the tables or fruit machines you can basically get drinks for free (just order off one of the many waitress's that are working in the casinos

I never went to the Pinball Hall Of Fame when i were there (didn't no there was such a place tbh )

If you aren't afraid of heights then go to the top of the Stratosphere casino/hotel there's a small rollorcoster and few other rides on the top (not for the faint hearted  :D)....

Also book a helicopter ride either over the Vegas strip at night (this is what me and the wife did and it was awesome) or you can book trips to fly over the Grand Canyon (which i'm gonna do next time we go to Vegas)....

I could bang on about Vegas all night as i really loved the place....the only 'gripe' i have is that you felt 'obliged' to 'tip' at virtually every bar/restaurent we went into even if we were just having a drink and not eating .....still its all part of the Vegas experience i suppose  :D

today I visited the pinball hall of fame. good pinball collection and in any case good videogames collection. the probem is that most of more interesting videogames are out of order on, in best case, in bad conditions.... so i could touch star trek cockpit withoun playing it :(

thank you for all suggestion, please consider that is not so easy for me to say "hey guy, I'm a local". in that case the answer could be "yes pizza margherita" :D
