I wouldn't say I'm a time millionaire (in fact, I still have to finish two projects), but I'll take a look at that file. Photoshopping an image is much easier than vectorizing it (vectorizing is a time-consuming activity and lately my wife looks askance at my hobby  ).

I agree that its less time consuming, but i personally preffer a vector file instead of a pixel file

I dont say you do a bad job ofcourse, but its just my personal preference.

Anyway, there are situations that require a mix of pixel and vector in artwork simply because its sometimes not possible to vector everything

I totally agree with you. In fact, I've combined these two techniques to restore it. The yellow outlines and the white instruction sheet are vectors. Maybe some other parts will be also vectorized, don't know yet (probably the text and the Zaccaria-Namco logo too).

I always vectorize my works because unfortunately, I only get poor quality source files to work with. When I have good scans, photoshopping them provides good results.

Many thanks to all of you who spend your time on scanning and uploading these pieces of arcade history in order to preserve them. We all know someone who should learn a lot about this point .

I just apply some tips I've learned through out the years about the Photoshop adjusting layers (like levels or selective colour correction) and a lot of patience with the cloning tampon and the brush
