Another visit at my local cab dealer...
« on: July 14, 2012, 11:00:02 AM »
Remember the place I found a Night Driver for Ully and a Zaccaria cockpit for PaulSwan ?

Was time for another visit. Nothing really classic or stuff I would sell any of my current games for but if I had more room I would have bought two machines from him.

Anyway, I just made a number of pics to show what he has got and how it looks like.

Sorry for the crappy mobile phone pics, all I had with me...

Fighting Vipers....never heard of, must be a SF/KI kind of game I suppose....

Pit Fighter...heard of it but know nothing of it...

Afb0061 by Level_42, on Flickr

Lethal Enforcers

Afb0062 by Level_42, on Flickr

Fighter cab, not they MAMED it with 600 games.....

Afb0063 by Level_42, on Flickr

No idea what this was....

Afb0064 by Level_42, on Flickr

Lot of pins...

Poor, poor Seeburg...

Taito Battle Shark

Another "nice" Seeburg

They kill for this in the US, but then it is the Ice Hockey version:

Road Riot single cab

Afb0083 by Level_42, on Flickr

Wow !!!! Propcycle with BIG screen

Afb0084 by Level_42, on Flickr

In pretty sweet condition too

Afb0087 by Level_42, on Flickr

Afb0088 by Level_42, on Flickr

And it works !!!

Afb0097 by Level_42, on Flickr

Played it a bit, I like it. The fan blowing cool air in your face works too. Only problem I had was going down didn't seem to work.
This is a fun game AND a good exercise machine !

Hah, never saw one of these in Europe before....anyone wants to get shocked ??

Afb0085 by Level_42, on Flickr

More pins

Afb0089 by Level_42, on Flickr

They sell all kinds of dinner stuff too....

Afb0090 by Level_42, on Flickr

Some stuff to buy for little money and sell for 600 with a 60in1 in it.....

Afb0092 by Level_42, on Flickr

Great game in the nice Electrocoin UK cabinet:

Police Trainer, for those who don't know, you have to step away to dodge bullets IIRC.

Afb0095 by Level_42, on Flickr

This was nice too. Road Riot double machine in fully working order. Both monitors looked very good indeed. I test played both sides. This is a nice compact dual racer for those who don't have room for a large sit spdown dual. Cosmetically in nice shape but some traces of use here and there of course.

Afb0096 by Level_42, on Flickr

If I didn't have to care about space or money I would have bought the Propcycle, Road Riot dual and SCI....

Bart, that Propcycle has your name on it, I know you love big machines :):)

Everything is for sale of course !

Heh....I thought it was common knowledge by not that I lost 95% of my interest in arcade gaming after a certain LD game was released....and then the side-scrollers came. All the same to me....punching kicking and moving from left to right...how original. Then the fighters came like SF, KI, whatever......of course there are exceptions like Out Run, Power Drift and some other games. Some great games I indeed miss because of this...only to discover them now...
also...I am very old....There's a generation difference with guys who grew up with the first BW games and first color games and the one's who grew up with the fighters...

Oh, and one of the crazy exceptions: I actually like Soul Calibur. Never played it BITD but it was one of the titles to try on my DC (which I got as a retro gaming system so very late too).

Anyway, that's the reason I don't know about Pit Fighter. :)

I'll give him a ring and ask for the price of the SCI and Fighting Vipers (that last one most be pretty rare I think ?)

Hi Andre,

Nice stuff he has there!
Can you ask for the price of the White Water pinball machine too, if you ring him?
Thanks.

Thanks for the pictures, too bad most of the games suck!  ;) and I think pit fighter is so bad that it becomes kinda cool again. The bike game is great though, played that one in Japan an really enjoyed it. Hope Bart will get it. What about the pinball prices? Are those high?

pitfighter is kinda of a classic, one of the first to use that photo technique in fighting games I guess? pre-Mortal Kombat

Haha lol

Seen the game before on the net its weird and big, two reasons to like it
But its not that old so I think its not cheap and at the moment not that much money to spent.

Just curious can you ask the prices for prop cycle and police 24/7 maybe I can find a sponsor

If Shelley gets a job soon I would be interested in 2 or 3 pinballs depending on the price. Let me know, happy to shower you with free arcade parts for being so wonderfully helpfull too.

That Virtua Fighter 3 cab is interesting, anyone know what it is? Looks kind of like a Cyberlead but obviously isn't...

André, this is a regular shop, is it not?

What's the name of the shop and where are they located? I want to call them and ask them about the diner stuff. And maybe they have some sort of website.

Edit, never mind, googled it, it must be jukeboxshop in Vlaardingen.  And iI saw on their website tbat tgey have another location which is in fact not far from where I live. Hm, time for a visit. :)
