Hey people  :)

Well it's been a great few weeks for me  ;D

First I managed to get plans so I can make a System 1 cab, during that I found a Cobra Command and then I had a lead on a Cliff Hanger that someone had back in August last year, thinking that it would of been sold (nice price back then)

Well I got a call saying that it's STILL available and in perfect condition  :shock:

now the only thing is, I don't know if it's a dedicated one (Pink/Blue) as the guy could not remember it as it's in storage. So he's getting it out and going to e-mail me some pictures  :D

I hope it's not some crappy LAI (Australian) modded job. If not then I'll have it within 1 - 2 weeks as it's in another state.

I'll keep you all posted and wish me luck  ;)

Now, the only thing is this is working 100% (with a Laser-Ace) do I:

1) Gut it and turn it into a Daphne version of my Cliff hanger: Restored Edition
2) Leave it as is
3) Copy the design, buy artwork and have both  :lol:

Cliff Hanger was always a game that you herd of but never really saw in the UK, I love to play the game on the original Cabinet!

Well it looks like I'll keep this original (as a LD game) and build a new cabinet for the Restored Edition (I'll scan and change the artwork to reflect that)

Looks like I'll have it early next month, this will (almost) be my pride and joy (Space Ace still holds that title)

More pics and the restore as it happens (needs a paint job)

Just a update:

Paying for the machine this week and hope to have it by next weekend or the weekend after (it's 1000k's away)

I must say I am VERY happy I've been able to find this machine after all this time, and to find out this might be the 'ONLY' dedicated Cliff Hanger in Australia is awesome  :D

I'm going to make plans from this cabinet and make them available for everyone  ;D Cause I am going to put my Cliff Hanger: Restored Edition in a repro cab (and artwork to match, working on that now)

When I get this cab I am going to re-paint it, so there will be LOTS of photo's for you all to enjoy. Going to buy a air-compressor to do the painting of all the cabs I am building lol

Well, gotta go and Vector some more artwork  :P
